Codestuff has developed and refined its RapidCCTV Software Development Kit (SDK) over the past 5 years to provide a base software development platform tailored to the needs of an IP Video and Security industry project.

The RapidCCTV SDK is used to provide an accelerated starting point for all customer projects, allowing a very quick turnaround from decision making to version 1.0 release of a software product. In the past, extensive projects such as security management suites have been produced in little over 8 weeks' development time.

Core Components

The Rapid SDK consists of core components that address all areas of the CCTV, IP Video and security industry. Components such as Recording, Broadcasting, Video Display, Client/Server architecture, User Management and Pan-Tilt-Zoom Control to name but a few are all ready to be used within customers' applications and customised to suit the customers' requirements.

Virtual Engineering

Experience has shown us that all but the smallest security applications require flexibility in design, development and deployment, making it difficult to know up front what features are required and how much resource will be required.

For this reason, Codestuff has created Virtual Engineerig teams that our customers can employ. These provide not only the experience of a seasoned engineering team and flexibility in specifying a roadmap and resource allocation, but also remove the overheads involved with direct employment while offering the substantial cost savings of outsourced development.
